History
One of the founders, Jacob Bartles,
of the nearby town Bartlesville, Oklahoma opened the Dewey Hotel on May
1st, 1900. The three story victorian stood as one of the most
impressive structures in the area. It hosted community events and
Sunday social's, as well as whiskey soaked poker games. The hotel
was in operation until 1965 and was later donated to the Washington
County Historical Society
Paranormal Accounts
There have been reports of
footsteps, unexplained bangs and full apparititons.
Personal Experiences
During our investigation we also
experience unexplained footsteps and banging noises.
