KANSAS
BAXTER SPRINGS
Fort Blair - The battle site of Baxter Springs located in the middle of town. It is reported some nights you can hear a battle going on.
COFFEYVILLE
Brown Mansion - Reports of paranormal activity are sounds of children playing and laughing; unseen persons bowling in the basement. A man in a smoking jacket is said to be on the second floor. Check out our investigations of the Brown Mansion.
Elmwood Cemetery - The resting place for the Dalton Gang. Visit our links page for more information about the Dalton Gang. A figure walking through the cemetery has been reporting numerous times. Check out our investigation of the Elmwood Cemetery.
Midland Theater - The theater is said to be haunted by it's previous owner Pearl. She can be found on the steps of the theater. Check out investigation of the Midland Theater for more information.
INDEPENDENCE
Le Hunte Cement Plant - Located outside of Independence, Kansas. After the cement plant closed down the town around it died out. There is not much left but remnants of the Cement Plant, a few houses and a grave yard. It is said you can see the figure of the man who was killed a tthe cement plant.
An updated on the Le hunte Cement Plant. It was also know as United Kansas Portland Cement Company. We have finally found out who owns the cement plant. It belongs to a large corporation in Pennsylvania. We contacted them and they denied a request for a paranormal investigation. So keep in mind if you are exploring Le Hunte you are trespassing and the company does not want anyone on the property.
KANSAS CITY
Sauer Castle - Reported accounts are lights appear in the look out tower, and can be seen floating around the property. Laughter, crying and shouting have been heard coming from the house, when no one was living there. Doors opening and closing by themselfs have also been reported. An apparition of a woman is seen standing and walking on the widow's walk, and standing in the lookout tower. Supposedly on Halloween, two apparitions (a man and a woman) are seen dancing in the lookout tower. An apparition of a boy was seen at the mansion. The property is currently privately owned. We were denied an investigation.

Catholic Cemetery
During our visit to this cemetery we noted a foreigh language (we guessed to be Russian) used on many if not most of the tombstones. It was one of the most unique cemeteries we have encourntered. paranormal accounts of the site center around a black cloaked figure wandering the cemetery at night. Farm House - One of the most disturbing accounts of events surround this privately owned farm house. It is reported residents of this home do not remainlonger than 6 months. Stories include physical assaults, appearances of apparitions, visions, sounds and voices. The source of the paranormal experiences began with a red headed child. The boy became ill with Rheumatic Fever and suffered brain damage. The parents were unable to control the child and came to the conclusion to strop the boy in a chair in a small, dark, attic space, where he remained. He was eventually committed to a mental hospital. he is still alive today. By the way, the chair is still in the small room. Residual energy? We are investigating the validity of this information.
CARTHAGE
Carthage Civil War Battlefield - It is reported the soldiers involved in this conflict may not have left. They can be seen at night or in broad daylight. Dont forget to review our investigation on this site.
The Kendrick Place - Jasper Counties oldest home, a Civil War mansion where a woman in white has been reportably seen. As well as a rocking chair moving on its own. Check out our investigation of the Kenrick Place.
JOPLIN
Old Freeman Hospital - This hospital closed more than 30 years ago but the spirits remain. The hospital is described as dark, eerie and evil. Reports of unease, sickness and unexplained sounds. We were able to investigate this hospital, see what we found.
Prosperity Bed and Breakfast - There is a massive amount of history and paranormal history surrounding this location. Visit the Prosperity Bed & Breakfast website via our links page and review all the research provided by the current owners. It has been visited by numerous paranormal groups, including us. It has also been visited by TAPS and Chris Moon used his telephone to the dead there with very interesting results. We confirmed his claim of a murderer at one time in the area, who came through on his telephone.
Peace Church Cemetery - Check out our investigation page for our investigation and our links page for a history of the cemetery. Paranormal Activity includes sightings of a cloaked figure. Said to be William Cook. Update - Paranormal Investigations are no longer allowed due to vandalism, you will be arrested for trespassing. Update - The real Billy Cook's grave has been identified. We have confirmed it is real, but is unmarked. However, we cannot release information due to fear of further vandalim and theft.
KKK Caves - Outside of Joplin near the Kansas Line. The caves were once used for KKK ralies and a jail. It is now closed up with a large steal dor and used for nothing. This place is said to be so eerie that even the police don't like going there. There are reports of unknown figures and sounds. This picture is of the huge metal knights that guard the enterance to the caves. It is now private property.
INDEPENDENCE
1859 Jackson County Jail - Reportedly one of the first cells as you enter the old jail is thoroughly haunted. Staff and visitors describe a feeling of nausea and chills, as well as hearing the sound of footstaps, growls and gasps. Others have reported seeing a man in blue in this cell. We were not lucky enough to confirm these claims during our investigation.
NEVADA
Nevada State Hospital - The hospital was located in Nevada, Missouri. We ran across the mental institution and beame intrigued by the history. For a complete history of the Kirkbride style architecture and the Nevada State Hospital visit our links page. After some investigation we located an address for the hospital and went in search of a possible investigation. Sadly though we felt obligated to report that the Nevada State Hospital is gone. Most of the hospital has been deconstructed or completely refurbished. The only remnant of the past is the underground tunnels and levels. We contacted the proprieter over the tunnels for the purpose of an investigation. Our request was denied based on the "best interests" of the persons inhabiting the area. We do thank those that took time to consider our request. it is said you can hear the sounds of wheel chairs and gurnies rolling around. People experience extreme feelings of unease, in the tunnels.
Bushwhacker Jail - Reported feelings of unease and unexplained noises. Check out our investigation for more information.
REDDINGS MILL
Richardson's Candy House - Employees of the candy house are certain it is haunted. They report strange noises and hear persons moving about the store who are not really there. Check out our investigation for more information.
WEBB CITY
Jane Chin Hospital - The hospital is currently being refurbished into a retirement complex and is not allowing paranormal investigations, However, there have been reports of footsteps and unexplained sounds suh as gurnies being pushed down the hallway.
Mount Hope Cemetery - Visible from Rangeline in Joplin you can see a statue of an angel. There have been reports of hearing a woman weep. Also the angel is said to respond when asked "what is wrong".
OKLAHOMA
SENECA
Spook Light (The Hornet Spook Light) - Located outside of Seneca Missouri at the Oklahoma/Kansas border. The spook light is reported to be a ball of light. There are numerous reports of this anomily occuring of the course of 100 years. It has been thoroughly scientifically investigation and as of yet no explaination of the spook light has been found.
Hoffmans Mansion - Located on the Oklahoma/Missouri border. The mansion has burned down and all that stands is the caretakers house and the cemetery. The cemetery has a large amount of childrens graves. There are many stories surround this mansion. One legend recounts the murderous "Hoffman" who's servants and children mysteriously disappeared. There have been reports of an appartition of a small girl swinging on the swing tied to a large tree in the cemetery. Other reports have been unexplained fires on and around the property.
SOUTH COFFEYVILLE
Old Parker School House - Do we really need to point out why people believes this school is haunted or does the picture speak for itself. Many people report unsettling feelsings and footsteps. Old Park is owned privately and paranormal investigations are not allowed. Due to the amount of vandalism the school house will soon be deconstructed.
