So how do you prove or disprove a haunting?
So says Webster, definitions:
- Haunt – to
appear to or visit as a ghost or spirit.
|
We
have to look at belief, because that is exactly what you’re
trying to do make yourself and/or other believe
the
existence or non-existence of a ghost.
So says Webster, definitions:
- Belief –
Something that is trusted or believed (believe – to accept as
true or real)
|
There
will always be a rebuttal or argument for everyone’s belief or
opinion. Belief is a personal thing that
is rarely changed or altered. So to say “I
can’t say it's haunted but there is something paranormal”
seems like
an oxymoron based on the idea of paranormal investigator and ghost
hunter being synonymous.
Okay so let's look at paranormal investigation
So says Webster, definitions:
- Paranormal – not scientifically explained
- Investigator
- to observe or study by close examination and systematic inquiry
|
So if
ghost hunting is based on belief and paranormal investigation is based
on a scientific inquiry then can
the
two really be related? Can there be a gray area in the spirit
world? Everything leads to your belief! You
can
both accept your beliefs and enjoy the hunt or agonize over your
confusion. So the point is you could wait
your
entire life for an answer but it's much easier to know the truth
if
you seek out the answer and knowledge.
That’s
why the Tri County Paranormal Research Society is proud to call
ourselves “Ghost Hunters”.
